Q1.  How does this work? I am still confused.

Ans. The lectures are not offered at this website. They are delivered "live" at a Paltalk Premium Room with live audience. You use this website to enroll (seats are limited)  in seminars of your interest. You will be provided with  a password which you will need to enter the Paltalk room. Once you enter our Paltalk room, you, along with other enrolled listeners will be able listen to and interact with the speaker. You should have an account with Paltalk. Please visit www.paltalk.com to create your free account. You will also need to install Paltalk Messenger (free) on your machine. Your computer should have speakers and a microphone (required only if you need to ask questions).

Q2. How do I enroll in a seminar?

Ans. Each seminar series requires separate enrollment. Visit the Enrollment section from our Home Page to enroll.

Q3. I have applied for enrollment, what do I do now?

Ans. You will be contacted by our staff soon. In the mean time visit www.paltalk.com to create your free account if you already do not have one.

Q4. What happens if I miss a seminar?

Ans. We archive old seminars at this website. In case you miss a seminar and want to catch up on the material before the next seminar, you can always access them from our Archives section.

Q5. I do not intend to enroll, can I still benefit from this site?

Ans. Yes, all of our seminars will be archived and you are welcome to listen to them at your convenience.

Q6. How do I find out which seminars are currently being offered?

Ans. You can find that information along with a "Seminar's Objective" in our Seminars section.

Q7. I am interested in participating in the seminars, is there a cost involved?

Ans. There is no cost involved. Your "interest" and "availability of seats" are the only criteria to win you a seat in the seminars.

Q8. Will I be able to see the speaker?

Ans. No. Currently we offer only audio. In future we will try to incorporate technology that allows speakers to share their presentations with the audience.

Q9. How can I locate your room at Paltalk?

Ans. You need to have Paltalk Messenger installed on your machine. Log on to Paltalk Messenger Service. You can find our room by clicking on the Groups tab. Our room is called "Islamic Education - enroll @ www.al-asr.org" under  the "Distance Learning" category. Information on how and which room to access will be detailed in the email you receive from our staff.

Q10. Are there any bandwidth requirements on my internet connection?

Ans. A cable or DSL connection is preferred, but dial ups are fine too. The audio quality will depend on your internet connection.
