SPEAKER: Sheikh Dr. Nasir Biriya, former resident Aalim of IEC Houston, Texas USA.  

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Morality will be studied from the view point of the Quran, the Prophet of Islam and his Household (sawaw). The speaker will address the issue using verses from the Quran, and will talk about the necessity of Islamic Morality, the role of Morality (and its practice) in the fulfilment of Islamic prosperity. The audience will also benefit from the sermons of Nahjul Balagha and other sources of Hadith. Time permitting, the views of some of the contemporary Muslim thinkers in this field (such as Ayatullah Jawad Amuli and Ayatullah Misbah) will be presented along with those of Allama Tabatabai. There will be a total of twenty (20) forty-five  minute lectures followed by a thirty minute Question and Answer session.

Enrollment is mandatory.
